Presentation guide

Because of the virtual venue in which the conference will be held, the lecture and poster sessions will be conducted differently than a conventional conference.

Lecture sessions

Sessions will be held in two (2) parts. A pre-recorded presentation followed by an on-line meeting with the conference attendees.

Presentation:
– Speakers will prepare a pre-recorded presentation of their power point slides accompanied by narration.
– The duration must be 15 minutes.
– The accepted formats are PPS, PPSX, MP4 and MOV.
– The presentation file must be submitted by June 10, at the latest.

On-line live presentation: Each paper assigned to a particular session are presented by their respective author for 2 minutes, followed by a 10 minutes period of Q&A. During the 2-minute presentation, please introduce yourself and summarize the main contribution(s) of your paper. You will be able to share your screen if necessary. Each session will be supervised by the session co-chairs. Speakers should refer to the program to find their respective schedule.

 

Poster sessions

Sessions will be held in two (2) parts. A pre-recorded presentation followed by an on-line meeting with the conference attendees.

Presentation:
– Speakers will prepare a pre-recorded presentation of their power point slides accompanied by narration.
– The duration must be 8 minutes.
– The accepted formats are PPS, PPSX, MP4 and MOV.
– The presentation file must be submitted by June 10, at the latest.

A link for file upload will soon be provided.

On-line live presentation: Each presenter will stay on-line for one hour and will interact with attendees as they connect to the online session for Q&A. Each session will be supervised by the session co-chairs. Speakers should refer to the program to find their respective schedule.
